Questions for Malek

If admins have control over blocked IP adresses, then why don't you block the 2 adresses that targeted this wiki and any others that come up?

For some reason, when I click the link to the Wiki on DoomRLs homepage, the text auto-sets itself to largest size. If I go back to the main page after searching around the wiki and re-setting the text, it doesn't go back tp largest, it only happens when I come in from an external site. What's happening? ~Thomas

The confirm e-mail thing doesn't work when you are logged in. You must log out, otherwise it says "the confirmation code may have expired." Please fix this. Why do people have to give an e-mail address, anyway? Nate879 16:09, 20 September 2007 (MDT)

I think I've solved the appearance colors problem. If you want to stick to the named colors, here's the ultimate resource from W3C. Judging from the RGB color values assigned to these names, these are the colors used on early text screens the Windows console window mimics - having only one bit per each of the basic colors, plus 'high intensity' bit. And all browsers are required to support these names. I've changed colors of level objects and now they look exactly like those in the game window - including the almost invisible dark blue color for the water. Also, the pink/purple debate over weapon accuracy mod is over - fuchsia is the name (who would think of such a color name anyway?). ~Malgond (Mon Jan 28 23:02:45 CET 2008)

One more little bit about appearance: maybe use the <TT> tag to force the browser to use monospaced font, which should be closer to the game window font than the default proportional font. The teleporter looks much better that way, for instance, but I have mixed feelings about other objects. ~Malgond (Mon Jan 28 23:09:31 CET 2008)

• Thanks for the colors - feel free to fix them wherever needed (I'm a bit limited on network acess untill payday) but as for <TT> I'd rather see it removed - it doesn't look good for me, in fact when I looked at teleporter after the change I couldn't make out it was a '*'. My opinion is that it will only hurt readability, so I'd prefer if you revert those back to way they were :) Malek Deneith 17:36, 29 January 2008 (MST)
